Automated External Defibrillator

Once qualified, holders of this certificate will have gained the knowledge and skills to make use of the AED’s that are now placed in many public places. This is the one piece of first aid equipment that saves lives and this course will provide the knowledge to make a real difference in an emergency.

We deliver the UK Resucitation Council AED course which has both practical and theory sessions covering:

Safe approach to a casualty	The assessment of a collapsed casualty
Adult and Child CPR	How to turn on the AED and attach electrodes
The Unconscious Casualty	The Recovery Position
Performing defibrillation safely

These courses can be delivered at any time to suit your requirements or you may wish to attend one of our open courses. Alternatively we can deliver courses in your own workplace for a maximum of 8 people per couses.

Upon successful completion and examination this course is valid for one year after which a re-qualification course can be completed to maintain this qualification.

Duration:	4 Hours for an initial course
	3 Hours for requalification
